Czy mogę prosić o pomoc w wytłumaczeniu: may/might + Perfect Infinitive, can/could + Perfect Infinitive?
11 lat temuostatnia aktywność: 9 lat temu
Poziom B2, lekcja 162:
W lekcji jest takie wytłumaczenie:
"may/might + Perfect Infinitive
it is possible that something has happened, but we're not sure
They might have come back home earlier.
Look, the vase is broken. It might have been the dog.
can't/couldn't + Perfect Infinitive
it seems impossible that something has happened (it is the opposite of "must + perfect infinitive")
He couldn't have been in London 9 years ago.
This book can't have been published last year."
Ale ni ma informacji w jakich sytuacjach stosować may/can, a w jakich might/could.
Czy ktoś może jaśniej wyjaśnić?
Z góry dzięki i pozdrawiam,
Kate
