Dieting can change a person’s life for the better or ruin one’s health completely. What is your opinion?

We must acknowledge that dieting habits have a major influence on our life. Dieting can change our life dramatically. Healthy eating practices can prevent complications such as diabetes or heart disease.
Nevertheless, when diet is not properly the person may become victim to some of the negative effects of dieting . To illustrate this, calories are needed to provide energy. If we consume too many calories during a diet we will increase body fat content and put more on weight but on the other hand eating not enough calories causes weakness. Less food cause the energy level fall.
Not only calories but carbohydrates, dietary fibre and protein are important in our daily meals.
Carbohydrates are a major source of energy for human body but there are good and bad carbohydrates, the last are found in food filled with sugar. Dietary fibre positively affect our health because it can lower cholesterol level and protein are used to create red blood cells.
Thus junk food can risk your life causing various, serious illnesses.
In particular, causing anorexia or bulimia. People suffering from that are very skinny but are convinced that they are overweight or they use inappropriate method of weight control include vomiting or fasting. Having an eating disorder it can lead to stress and serious depression.
However eating habits can change a person’s life for the better. Food is what serve our life with energy. Similarly, a car takes in petrol to work. Without any fuel the car becomes useless. We need the food to live and run properly, without it we cannot be fit and healthy.
Moreover, it is not just the body but mind too., which gets affected by dieting. Healthy diet can improve your body, look, make happier, help prevent from stress or various disasters.

In short, I think that dieting has a major influence on our health, it can improve and change our life. In XXI century more people are suffering from an eating disorders than ever before therefore education about good diet is necessary and healthy eating is recommended by doctors.

a.toronczak - Nasz system oszalał i drobna poprawka sprawiała, że przekreślał całe zdanie. Nieładnie to wyglądało, dlatego musi Pani sama prześledzić to, co poprawiłam :)
