MULTICULTURAL DAYS AT OUR UNIVERSITY

Would you like to know more about the cultures of different countries from around the world? Well, now you have the chance! We invite you to our Multicultural Days. You will have an opportunity to get to know English, American, German, Italian, Spanish, Chinese, Russian and many other interesting cultures.

We start next Monday with English Day. You will be able to:

• get to know the habits of the English people

• discuss politics with important government officials

• learn about the history of Great Britain

Here are some fun facts to get you started:

• Do you know where the Queen of England lived? She lived in Buckingham Palace in London.
• What are the police sometimes called in England? They are sometimes called "bobbies".
• The head of Poland is the President, but what is the leader of England known as? The leader of England is the Prime Minister.
• Where do they make laws in England? They make laws in Parliament in Westminster.

The official opening ceremony will take place in the city hall at 9:00 a.m. Don't miss it!
