Hi
I will be back home an hour later. I have to drive to a dentist after my work. Do you remember that our friends come to visit us in the evening. We have in the fridge: some cheese, a few slices of ham, cucumbers, tomatoes, green peppers, olives and roast chicken. Can you do me a favour? Could you go to the store and buy some cake and two bottles of wine. I will be grateful. See you soon.

TommyTu - To jest w porządku. Oznacza "trochę ciasta". Ale Twoja wersja też jest poprawna, bo oznacza, jak chyba wiesz, ale dla tych którzy mogą nie wiedzieć, "trochę ciastek" - 9 lat temu

"I have to go to the dentist after my work." albo "...drive to the dentist's office..."
A dlaczego? Bo to tak samo jak w Polskim - "idę dzisiaj do dentysty" a "jadę dzisiaj do dentysty" (dla mnie to brzmi dziwacznie)

"Do you remember that our friends are coming to visit us in the evening?"
Tutaj znowu pomaga Polski - "...nasi przyjaciele przychodzą..." czyli też czas teraźniejszy ciągły.
